Just moments ago during the Opening Ceremonies of Blizzcon 2009, the next World of Warcraft expansion, Cataclysm, was revealed. The expansion will feature new race/class combinations as well as a revamp of classic zones and content including everything from the Barrens to Shadowfang Keep. Two new races will also enter the fray: the Worgen for the Alliance and the Goblins for the Horde.
Other interesting features for the next expansion will include a Guild leveling system, ranked battle grounds, and a new secondary profession called archeology. Get ready to battle Deathwing as you push to the new 85 level cap when this expansion drops late 2010 or early 2011.
